About the Department
The department provides training in History/Geography, History/Social Studies and Geography/Social Studies for the Secondary programme. The department also teaches courses that are a part of the Early Childhood Programme. These are: Social Studies Foundation Course (Year 1) and Advanced Social Studies (Year 2 and 3). There is also an Elective course Caribbean Studies don by specialists in secondary education from other areas than G/H/SS.
