BACHELOR IN EDUCATION DEGREE PROGRAMME

TIME FRAME

The degree is offered both Full Time (FT) and Part Time (PT) in

• Early Childhood Education
• Primary Education
• Secondary Education
• Special Education
• Guidance and Counselling
• Literacy Studies

Full time students will attend classes between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.

In the near future the degree will be offered through the distance learning modality.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Applicants should have EITHER

• Joint Board of Teacher Education (JBTE) Diploma or it equivalent with at least a B average (credit) OR
• JBTE Diploma or its equivalent (pass) with evidence of continuing professional development.
• Persons having additional Professional Certification may also apply.

COST

Students will pay on a per credit basis. The cost per credit will change from time to time. Currently, the rate is $7, 000 (seven thousand) per credit. If a student does four credit courses, the tuition cost will be $84, 000 for tuition. ($7, 000 x 4 x 3).

Students will also be required to pay miscellaneous fees. This will be determined by the respective college.

Students are expected to budget for textbooks.
