University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus
Staff members have written and delivered courses for the B.Sc. in Human Ecology in collaboration with the University of the West Indies.

Ministry of Education Youth & Culture
Partners with the Technical and Vocational Unit to offer in-service training for teachers of Clothing and Textiles.

Human Employment and Resource Training/Vocational Training and Development Institute (HEART/VTDI)
The majority of the staff of the department have offered service to HEART/NTA as assessors and instructors. One tutor is a certified assessor for the agency.

Caribbean Examination Council
Three tutors are currently engaged as examiners for the CSEC Home Economics Management, Food and Nutrition and Clothing and Textiles.

City & Guilds International
One tutor is an external verifier for the Hospitality courses.

Jamaica Cultural Development Commission
One tutor is an Adjudicator for the Festival of Foods.

Skills Jamaica in collaboration with HEART/NTA
Four tutors have worked as Judges and Chief Judges since the inception of the competition.

Council of Community Colleges of Jamaica
Three tutors write question papers for Hospitality Courses.
